update from tyler via kim braud

I just received a phone call from them that gave a quick update on how the trip is going. The team arrived in Del Rio, TX at 11am Sunday morning. They enjoyed a lunch at Mr. Gatti’s and then, got ready to cross the border into Acuna, MX. Yesterday, they had their first outreach in Mexico, a VBS at Movimiento De Fe; a church in Acuna, MX. About 70 people were in attendance…. Last night, our missionary contact, John Novara, met with the kids and explained to them what it means to be a missionary, and from this meeting, some of our HPC kids feel like they may be called to be missionaries themselves!
Last night, our kids had their first street meeting. They set up a sound system, played with the neighborhood kids, and did their dramas. 100 people were in attendance! Tonight, they’re driving about 1 ∏ hours out to the small town of Allende to cook for a new church plant. Please keep Candace Urban in your prayers, as she will be preaching at tonight’s service.
Tyler also asks that we keep their street meetings and VBS in our prayers, and more specificially, pray for the anointing and for God to move at each of their outreaches….
All in all, the kids are doing great, and the trip has been amazing!
More updates to come….
